I started this visit with a delicious Ube Latte. The barista told me that the Ube syrup is made here using Japanese Sweet Potatoes! Absolutely amazing! It’s a must try! The atmosphere is relaxing and chill. The staff was wonderful and sweet. I typically love a lox bagel. This one looks cute, but it wasContinue reading “District Coffee in St Cloud, MN”

The Bacon Lollipops were super cute to look at, but not something either of us would do again. Some dry and unappealing and others were almost completely fat. We only ate half of it and decided not to waste time on subpar food. Caprese Bruschetta was by far the most amazing of our food evening.Continue reading “Number4 in Mankato MN”
Franke’s Bakery
EST. 1914 in Montgomery, MN. We both said it was like stepping into great grandmas kitchen. The shop had an abundance of bakery items and fresh breads. Their Czechoslovakian heritage can be seen throughout the shop and had a mix of antiques and old photos as well. The only downside was the lack of beverages,Continue reading “Franke’s Bakery”

A-Tavern in Arlington MN

Vanilla bean ice cream. Think cracker like brownie wafer. Heavy fudgy brownie. The ice cream was delightful with thin caramel and chocolate sauce. The fudge brownie had thick caramel and chopped walnuts. It was a little rich but still good. The brownie wafer with the ice cream would have been satisfying alone. https://www.laceyskc.com/

The velvety beer cheese soup was smooth. Going down with full flavor in it. Perhaps the best beer cheese soup I’ve ever had. Fun fact: they make their own homemade dressings. Come and get a pint to go! The fiesta salad was a delicious taco salad. Not only did it have guacamole and sour creamContinue reading “Mabel Murphy’s in Fergus Falls MN”
The Crow Bar and Grill
Drinks for the night were a peach crown with lemonade and unsweetened iced tea and then a peach crown with 7up and pineapple juice. Both were delicious and made for great summer refreshments.
