Classic jazz on a weeknight
Looking for some classic jazz on a weeknight, we found Three Muses to be a good spot. The service was outstanding. Although we looked at the menu, we didn’t order anything but drinks. Drinks were good, but nothing special… Just a good drink. We did venture next door to find a good dancefloor, but notContinue reading “Classic jazz on a weeknight”
Superior Seafood and Oyster Bar
Crawfish Beignets. Don’t bother. Greasy, flavorless crab in a dough with a lovely sauce. Nice little side salad. Topped with olives, tomato, goat cheese, and a very light home-made style vinaigrette. Light and refreshing, but could use more tomato or a crouton. Shrimp Pesto Risotto – Good, but nothing special. Wouldn’t rush to order again.Continue reading “Superior Seafood and Oyster Bar”
SnugHarbor Jazz Bistro
Home Enjoying a Pimm’s on Frenchman and an Uppercut Cabernet Sauvignon. Broiled shrimp with loaded baked potato. Classic meal and delicious! Definitely do it again! Following our meal, the server brought us a fresh lemon to squeeze into our hands and wash our fingertips with a damp clothe. So classic.
Cafe Beignet New Orleans
It’s hard to go wrong with a good beignet! These are a little more dense than other ones we have had in town, but the density did not take away from the flavor. https://www.cafebeignet.com/

Cafe Du Monde
It’s hard to not enjoy a Beignet along the water in New Orleans. Great afternoon snack.
Good food at American Sector restaurant & bar
Spinach and Citrus Salad was perfectly portioned with all the right flavors! Baby spinach, black pepper goat cheese, pickled onions, satsuma, dried cranberries, with citrus champagne vinaigrette. https://ww2eats.com/ Don’t forget to have time to enjoy the National WWII Museum in New Orleans. Great layout to an overwhelming amount of information. https://www.nationalww2museum.org/
